Fat Busting Foods You Should Be Eating

In your quest to a healthier and slimmer lifestyle there are many questions that are bound to come up along the way.  One such question, that is really good is, “Are there any foods that I should be eating in order to break down the fat I already have?”  I was always taught that the best way to eliminate your fat reserves was to exercise, but if you can break down the fat by consuming simple and available foods then why not.  So in my quest for a more complete knowledge of the human diet and weight loss I came across this article on the Diet Digest Blog. If you are a vegetable lover then the foods on this list will be right up your alley, as most of them are vegetables.  So the 12 foods that are recommended to include in your diet are:  asparagus, beets, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, celery, cucumbers, garlic, horseradish, lettuce, radishes, and tomatoes.1 Other than these foods being vegetables you will find that they all contain a lot of micronutrients (vitamins & minerals) that your body needs in order to promote the break down of fat.  These minerals help your organs release chemicals to cleanse your body and eliminate the waste.  Foods such as beets and horseradish contain natural diuretics which help to cleanse your body as well. If you are not a big fan of vegetables then I would suggest consuming more whole grains (oatmeal, cereals, bran muffins, whole grain pasta, brown rice, etc) to complement your diet.  While these foods are not considered “fat busting” they do promote weight loss and will keep you feeling full.

So if you are looking for foods to incorporate into your diet that will promote the break down of your existing fat cells then I would suggest going with these ones.  Besides helping to clean you out these foods will help keep your hunger at bay (since they are full of fiber).
